Leave it to 2K and Gearbox to bring back some of the best of the 90s. With their announcement trailer for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel’s Claptastic Voyage, bless your ear-balls with some classic Coolio beats. If you thought the name ‘Claptastic Voyage’ sounds eerily similar to Coolio’s ‘Fantastic Voyage,’ you’d be absolutely correct.
Announced at the PAX East Gearbox panel, Claptastic Voyage and Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2 were both announced. This content will be coming out on the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC on March 24th, and will also be included in the Borderlands: The Handsome Collection on the Xbox One and PS4.
It's a whole bunch of new content – taking place in the scariest of all places, Claptraps mind. I shudder just thinking of the horrors. This content includes new story campaign goodness, unique enemies, and weapons. The Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2 doesn’t come with mental instability but does raise the level cap to 70 which allows for 10 more skill points to distribute.
