If rumors are true, Gearbox Software could be readying a Borderlands 2: Game of the Year Edition.
IGN was sent a photo of the alleged GotY book, from a GameStop source, which highlights "over $100 in content value." It's believed that the GotY edition will include the following:
- Creature Slaughter Dome
- Psycho Pack
- Captain Scarlet’s And Her Pirate’s Booty
- Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt
- Mister Torgue’s Campaign Of Carnage
- Tiny Tina’s Assault On Dragon Keep
- Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade
- Mechromancer Pack
- Creature Slaughter Dome
Given the sheer number of add-ons and content packs for Borderlands 2 since it's release last year, it only makes sense that some sort of Game of the Year edition would be released with all of it included. Interestingly, this alleged special edition won't include any of the upcoming Borderlands 2 DLC — like the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2: Digistruct Peak Challenge –– which was revealed back in July.
