Brad Pitt to Try on John Marston’s Boots?

Rumblings around the net today are stating that Brad Pitt may be in the running to play as John Marston in the upcoming film based on Rockstar’s smash hit western game, Red Dead Redemption (yeah, we didn’t know there was one either). A source has revealed the news to Showbizspy.com, stating that the star has been given first refusal on the project.

The source doesn’t give any other information on the project outside of this (even the studio in charge of producing the film), so this falls heavily into rumor territory.
