Brand new Sunset Overdrive screenshots highlight fast-paced action

While we waited with baited breath for EDGE to uncover more gorgeous screenshots for Sunset Overdrive, it looks like Game Informer beat them to the punch.

The screenshots showcase the main character blasting monsters left and right, while ziplining, jumping and being on the move. Just like I noted in the previous post, Sunset Overdrive is throwing cover mechanics away in favor for movement. Wall running is the new cover mechanic, that's awesome.

If you prefer to see Sunset Overdrive in action, you can also head on over to the Game Informer page and watch their two minute video. From what I've seen in the video, it looks like a mix between Ratchet & Clank gameplay mixed in with Jet Set Radio style.
