Brave’s Merida pretty much confirmed for Disney Infinity 2.0

Disney is strongly hinting (okay, pretty much confirming) that Merida, the princess from Pixar's Brave, is coming to Disney Infinity 2.0. The game's official twitter account posted the following picture teasing the character with the phrase "Bring on the Brave."

Her inclusion follows the recent announcement that Maleficent, the evil mistress from Sleeping Beauty and main focus in the soon-to-be-released Maleficent film, will also be featured in the game. Both characters were previously spotted by us in the original Disney Infinity 2.0 trailer (watch it above and see if you can spot them), so neither of these announcements really come as much of a surprise.

Of course, the major attraction of Disney Infinity 2 is the inclusion of characters from the Marvel Universe. The Disney Infinity 2.0 starter pack will come with three Avengers figures — Iron Man, Thor, and Black Widow — and an Avengers playset piece. Captain America, Hulk, and Hawkeye will be sold separately at launch.
