Brutal Mode on Rock Band 4 is absolutely ludicrous

Harmonix has announced a new mode for Rock Band 4 which will be available beginning tomorrow, December 8th, with the newest update.

The new Brutal Mode will be a progressive mode intended for expert players as it adjusts on the fly. The better you play the harder it gets. If you mess up, the game tones it down a bit for you until you get back on track. For those who think they can rock out with the best of them, the better you play the higher the note bar raises toward the top of the screen. For the Ringo Star or Bono out there who think you deserve a record deal, get ready. Because the notes raise until they are practically at the top of the screen leaving you hardly any time at all for error. Three new metal songs have also been added to the list of available tracks and they are

  1. Between the Buried and Me – The Coma Machine
  2. Opeth – Heir Apparent
  3. Dante's Inferno – Nevermore

Each song will cost the standard DLC price of $1.99 from the in game store and will also be available tomorrow on both Xbox One and PS4.
