Bryan Fuller reveals first look at new American Gods project

Last month, premium channel Starz gave the all clear for Bryan Fuller (Hannibal, Pushing Daisies) and his team to start work on the Neil Gaiman fantasy classic, American Gods. This morning Fuller released the first look at the concept art developed by Jim Carson for the project via his Twitter account which depicts the iconic bone orchard from the novel.

Anyone familiar with Fuller’s work on Hannibal should be getting amped that his particular fetish for lush visuals and predatory characters are sure to lend themselves well to the story’s exploration of modern mythology and forgotten gods. Casting searches have begun, but no word yet on who will fill the role of Shadow.
