With casting announcements and plot hints being dropped routinely lately for Bryan Singer's X-Men TV series, it seems we finally have our official title. According to Producer Lauren Shuler Donner, it will be called "Gifted" according to her announcement on Twitter.
Gifted will be about a family who is forced to go on the run from the government after discovering their child is a mutant. They meet up with a bunch of underground mutants who help them in their endeavors. Other than that info, the only thing we know plot wise so far is that it will feature sentinels. Amy Acker (Agents of Shield) will play the mother Kate in the series as well as Gotham's Jamie Chung as mutant Blink.
No release date has been announced for Gifted, but it will air later this year and be set within the same universe as the X-Men films. Take a look at the announcement below.
