Bungie founder teams up with System of a Down’s Serj Tankian for new iOS game

Bungie founder Alex Seropian and Halo design lead Paul Bertone came together to create a new first-person shooter. Two huge names that you might never guess to have their name in the credits of a video game also took part in this game: System of a Down's Serj Tankian (he worked on music) and Hugo-award winning author John Scalzi (he wrote the game's story).

These are some heavy hitters in their respective industry, you'd think they were working on a game for the PC, PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, but it's actually a free-to-play iOS game that brought them together.

Midnight Star, as shown in the trailer above, is about a group of austronauts that are transported across space ina  weaponized research vessel "to take part in an epic war whose outcome will determine the fate of humanity."

Did you play it? What do you think??
