Bungie introduces new “Refer-a-Friend” program for this holiday season

As Bungie prepares for the Destiny November update which plans to bring changes to the Gunsmith and Crucible; a brand new feature has been introduced to the players.
Bungie is calling it the "Refer-a-Friend” program and is said to release sometime after the November update. As the holiday season is right around the corner, Bungie is offering Destiny veterans to refer new players to the game in exchange for rewards.
"After this update is deployed, some of the more tech savvy among you will be able to dig up some details for a new initiative we have planned to arrive just in time for the holiday season. We’re planning something new to recognize and reward the Sherpas among you. We are calling it Refer-a-Friend."
"Maybe you have a friend who will be getting Destiny as a gift this season. Perhaps their gift-giver will even be picking it up for them at a holiday sale coming to a store near you. If you intend to show them the way to the mountaintop, we’ll have new rewards aimed at recognizing your service to the Kinderguardian."
Bungie did not clarify on what rewards or goodies you will receive, but as we get closer to November more details will start to trickle down. In other Destiny news, today is Friday which means Xur has arrived, go check out what he has to offer!
