Bungie offers limited Destiny 2 emblem for purchase; Profits go to Hurricane Harvey victims

If you've been following the news or have family in Texas, you're aware of the tragic events unfolding. Families in Houston, Texas have been hit by an awful hurricane being labeled as Hurricane Harvey, it has flooded many areas and even killed people. Thousands of people have had to evacuate and leave everything behind and some are even trapped without any food or water.

Citizens are doing their part to help rescue people with emergency services by either going out of their way to pull people out of the water or simply just donating money. If you are unable to help out due to where you're located or simply because it's dangerous and people have been advised to stay clear of the area, you can still help.

If you plan on picking up Destiny 2, you can get an exclusive, limited emblem for $14.99. All profits will go to Direct Relief who will help deliver medical supplies and help provide facilities to those who seek medical attention but don't have a lot of money.

On top of the emblem, anyone who purchases it will receive a physical version of the emblem in the form of a pin. Only 15,000 of these will be made and they'll be shipped out in October with a code for your emblem.  You can click here to go to Bungie's store to purchase it. Now you can be more than just a Guardian in Destiny, you can be a Guardian and help those in need right now.

If you can't spare $15 or simply don't play Destiny, there are tons of other ways to donate. You can text HARVEY to 90999 to donate $10 or go to the American Red Cross' website to donate. There are tons of other ways to donate as well, Google other ways to help out if you're interested.

Destiny 2 hits Xbox One and PS4 on September 6th, a PC version is due out on October 24th, 2017.
