Bungie promises ‘significant Light increase’ with Destiny’s Spring update

Following Activision's earnings call yesterday, Bungie took to its blog to address the road map for Destiny.

Briefly mentioned last month, Bungie is planning on rolling out a "larger" game update in the coming weeks. Sharing some details yesterday, Bungie revealed this update will see the arrival of new content, including a "significant" Light increase, "a bunch" of new gear, and new challenges for PvE players "seeking some more fun experiences and replayability."

It seems we'll have to wait a bit longer for more specific details, but Bungie expects the update to release sometime during the Spring window.

It's worth mentioning, this update is not the "large new expansion" Activision mentioned yesterday in its earnings report. That is presumably coming later this year.

Looking even further ahead, Activision confirmed a "full-fledged" sequel to Destiny will be released in 2017.

With that, I ask you, is it too late for Destiny or are you willing to give it a second shot?
