Bungie releases a roadmap for what’s to come in Destiny 2

Bungie has launched Update 1.1.2, but they are far from finished improving the Destiny 2 experience. The studio’s Game Director, Chris Barrett detailed what we can expect from the game in the coming months in a “Development Roadmap” post over on Bungie’s official website.

A picture accompanying the post shows what’s come to the game in the new year. Check it out:

It’s worth noting that Destiny 2’s second expansion will launch alongside the start of Season 3 in May as confirmed in a Tweet later posted by Barrett. Additional details on the features listed above will come during the next few weeks and dates are subject to change.

Destiny 2’s second expansion is rumored to be called Gods of Mars, which has been leaked multiple times by different storefronts; most recently Xbox Live. There’s a pretty compelling amount of information that accompanied the leak, so it only seems like it’s a matter of time before we get official confirmation.

Destiny 2 is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
