It appears as though Bungie is ready to reveal what the next adventure will be for Destiny, and they aren't going to wait until E3 2016 to do it. This reveal will come in the wake of a number of rumors on Destiny's following expansion and sequel.
On Thursday, June 9th at 10 AM PT, Bungie will reveal the coming expansion for Destiny. According to rumors that circle last month, the expansion will be called Rise of Iron and will release this Fall.
Whether or not this is true remains to be seen, the only bit of words Activision had to spare on the coming expansion was that it would be "large." Additionally, the full on Destiny sequel, has been rumored to be getting an entire overhaul, but no details have been revealed.
