Burnout Crash slams onto iPhone and iPad

Criterion Games has released Burnout Crash for iPhone and iPad.

The original Crash Mode from Burnout 2 inspired the standalone title, which appeared in the App Store today. Players steer cars into a busy intersection, colliding with traffic to increase their score. The developer set the over-the-top action to an '80s pop music theme.

Players will encounter everything from tornadoes to UFOs, giant blue lobsters, the Pizza of Fortune, an ice-cream van, and more. The game features Rush Hour, Road Block, and Pile Up modes and the ability to send scores back and forth between friends, challenging them to do better.

Burnout Crash includes 54 levels, six areas, and seven vehicles. It costs $4.99.
