It looks like one of the Xbox One Elite controller's most requested features is also going to be coming to all standard Xbox One controllers soon. The button remapping feature, which is available on all PS4 controllers now, allows the user to switch the function of any button to whatever they want to use it for. It's convenient, especially for competitive players, who use features like bumper jumping and rapid fire in order to let them shoot faster by moving their fingers a shorter distance.
With the Xbox One Elite checking in at a price of $150, many users wanted to know if they could get the feature on their normal controller just like the Dualshock 4. Well, according to Mike Ybarra at Microsoft that is exactly what you can look forward to;

There are also other features on the Elite controller that you may use as its target demographic is the competitive player. Finger paddles on the rear along with rapid fire trigger buttons will let players both shoot and jump faster with the new layout. The Elite controller launches alongside Halo 5 Guardians on October 27th
