In a move I'm sure that was made to steal some of the hype from Star Wars: The Old Republic, the World of Warcraft Annual Pass has been announced. This pass is a 12 month pledge to World of Warcraft that is billed at a monthly rate (the same as the normal rate).
If you accept this pledge, not only do you get Diablo 3 FOR FREE, you also get Mists of Pandaria beta access! What a deal! Whether or not this will detract from this holiday's other big MMO remains to be seen.
