2K Games and Gearbox Software are offering free memberships to their all-new Duke Nukem Forever First Access Club to anyone who buys the Borderlands Game of the Year edition coming out on October 12th. Included with the membership will be a host of goodies, including access to the DNF demo.
First Access Club members will be the first to get their hands on some playable Duke action, but there’s a catch. Gearbox and 2K aren’t saying exactly when the demo will be released, only saying that it will be prior to the release of the retail game sometime in 2011.
Still, those interested in getting a sneak peek at the Duke’s new, long-awaited adventure at some vague date in the near future can buy a copy of Borderlands GOTY and get their free membership certificate for $59.99 for 360 and PS3, and for $49.99 for PC.
