Treyarch has shared details about the upcoming PC Beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. Interested players can now check whether their PCs are up for the task. As announced previously, the Open Beta begins at 10 am PT on August 11 and is playable via Battle.net. Players who pre-purchased the game will be able to get into the Beta a whole day earlier on August 10.
The Beta will include 6 modes across 6 maps with 10 Specialists to choose from, and looks to be a nicely packed early test for those who are interested and those who are still uncertain. Taking part in this Beta is free, you only need a Battle.net account which you can register for free. Check out our preview impressions on Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 to learn more about the game.
Activision made headlines during the game’s announcement event this May, when they revealed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 wasn’t going to appear on popular PC service Steam, but instead be exclusively available on Activision’s very own – and successful – digital distribution platform Battle.net. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be release on October 12th for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
