Call of Cthulhu releases new screenshots showing off an atmospheric Lovecraftian experience

The great pen and paper RPG is getting yet another chance at video game life, and Cyanide Studio has released a fresh batch of screenshots for the upcoming game. "Dark" is a term (cliche) that is most often thrown around to hype something up, but it legitimately describes the vibe you get from the game. These new screens show off the locals and locales of Darkwater Island where you take the role of Edward Pierce, a war veteran turned private eye investigating the unusual death of Sarah Hawkins and her family.

Call of Cthulhu will release on PC and consoles sometime next year.
