Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Destiny took all console gamers’ money this year

#1 and 2 top-selling console games

Surprise surprise… Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Destiny were bought by a lot of gamers. But where did they land on the 'top console games sold list in the U.S.' list?

In the first two spots actually…

With only seeing a release in November, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is the #1 top-selling console game of the year through November in the United States, as well as individually on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Destiny, Bungie's new IP and release that launched in September, is the #2 selling console game in the U.S. through November. But don't think people are happy with Destiny, despite its sales numbers…

Meanwhile, the #1 kids video game franchise of the year through November is Skylanders based on retail including toys and accessories. But we all knew that was a cash cow.

Basically what Activision wants us to know is that they made a ton of money this year and have three very impressive games that you should be playing if you haven't been already.
