Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare revealed. Watch the trailer here

It wasn't supposed to be unveiled until Sunday, but thanks to a leak from Destructoid, Activision has gone ahead and announced the new Call of Duty early. It's titled Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, stars Kevin Spacey, and has tons of high-tech, futuristic weaponry. That about sums it up.

The new reveal trailer sort of details the game's story, seemingly revolving around Spacey's Private Military Corporation fighting back against the United States. Let's be honest though, nobody really plays the campaign.

"Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare envisions battlegrounds of the future, where both technology and tactic have evolved to usher in a new era of combat for the franchise," the official description reads. To that end, the trailer gives us a peak at some of the awesome gadgetry that will hopefully make its way into the game's multiplayer: mechs, hoverbikes, exosuits that look like they're from the movie Elysium, jump boosters, and things of that nature.

Most importantly, the trailer also revealed that Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be released on November 4, 2014. Though the video claims all footage was captured directly from Xbox One, no other platforms were mentioned. I'm suspecting it'll be released on Xbox One, PS4, PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 though.
