If you're jonesin' for some Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 news you may want to pick up the October issue of PlayStation: The Official Magazine. Set to hit stands tomorrow, August 28, the latest issue features Activision's upcoming first person shooter, particularly the game's popular multiplayer gameplay.I
"Nothing seems to elicit more reaction from gamers than putting Call of Duty on our cover," said PTOM editor-in-chief Roger Burchill, "But love it or hate it, there’s no denying that the franchise is still the king of the FPS hill."
As such, the issue will go in depth with Black Ops 2's multiplayer as PTOM senior editor Scott Butterworth sits down with the Black Ops 2 devs to discuss the "myriad of changes" they've done to the game's online multiplayer.
"It’s difficult to predict how the laundry list of revisions will affect the overall experience, but it seems the COD battlefield has fundamentally changed," Burchill added.
In addition to Black Ops 2, the October issue chronicles the first two chapters of each of Resident Evil 6's three major campaigns. It also features a piece about the next wave of indie games set to hit the PlayStation Network.
