Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 ‘Uprising’ dated for PS3 and PC

PlayStation 3 and PC users will be able to download the latest DLC, Uprising, for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 next month. Activision confirmed today that the second map pack for Black Ops 2 will be made available on May 16.

The map pack includes four new multiplayer maps: Magma, a modern Japanese village at the base of an erupting volcano; Encore, a deserted London music festival; Vertigo, a futuristic high-rise in India; and Studio, a Hollywood movie back lot which is actually a contemporary re-imagining of "Firing Range" from the original Black Ops.

In addition to the new maps, Uprising also includes a new Zombies mode called "Mob of the Dead." In this mode you play as one of four Prohibition-era mobsters —  Billy Handsome (Liotta), Al "The Weasel" Arlington (Pantoliano), Salvatore "Sal" DeLuca (Palminteri), and Michael "Finn" O'Leary (Madsen) — who are currently serving time in Alcatraz Prison. The four of them must work together to survive waves of swarming zombies.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Uprising will be available for $14.99, or free for those with the Season Pass. Check out our review of Uprising for Xbox 360.
