Xbox One and PC gamers won't have to wait much longer as the first Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 DLC is set to land on both platforms, March 3rd.
The downloadable content, called 'Awakening', first hit PlayStation 4 just short of a month ago due to the console's exclusivity deal, and in just two days other gamers will be able to play it too.
Awakening marks the arrival of Black Ops 3's first DLC Zombies mission – Der Eisendrache, based on top of a mountain. The map also offers four new Zombie Mega Gumballs, all of which should help battle the endless flood of the dead, and being in a medieval castle makes it even more difficult.
There are a total of four multiplayer maps within this new piece of DLC, with one of them featuring a water park – as featured in the trailer above.
If you'd like to read more about the four maps, below is the preview for each – courtesy of PlayStation Store:
- "Skyjacked: A reimagined classic that retains the same fast and frenetic gameplay from one of the most popular maps in Call of Duty® history.
- Gauntlet: Plays up the core philosophy of Treyarch’s classic three-lane map structure with three distinct environments.
- Splash: Set in an abandoned water park, an imaginative environment with waterslides, a lazy river and a wrecked pirate ship.
- Rise: A Coalescence Corporation construction project catering to a mix of classic Call of Duty cover based combat."
Reports have also pointed towards a new update, to be released alongside this pack, fixing some minor issues in the game.
