Continuing to tease Call of Duty: Black Ops 3's first DLC Pack – Awakening — Activision today released a 15-second teaser for the new map, Splash.
As the name suggests, Splash is set in an abandoned water theme park, delivering to players an aquatic environemtn with vibrantly colored waterslides, a wrecked pirate ship, and a lazy river ride through a fantastical forgotten city. And, of course, being set in a water theme park, you can expect lots of underwater combat opportunities.
You can check out Skyjacked, the second of four maps included in Awakening, here. If the name sounds familiar, that's because its a remake of popular Black Ops 2 map, Hijacked. Also included with Awakening are two more maps — Rise and Guantlet — which have yet to be previewed, as well as Der Eisendrache, Treyarch's brand new Zombies adventure that picks up where The Giant left off.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Awakening will be available via the Black Ops 3 Season Pass, which includes all four of the planned DLC packs at a discounted rate, for a total of $49.99. You can also purchase it individually for $15. As a reminder, DLC for Black Ops 3 is a timed-exclusive; Awakening will launch on PlayStation 4 February 2, 2016, followed by all other platforms 30 days later. Awakening, or any of the other Black Ops 3's season pass content, will not be available on PS3 or Xbox 360.
