Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta begins this August on PS4

The Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta, which is available for anyone who pre-orders the game, will begin this August on PlayStation 4, Activision announced during Sony's E3 press conference.

Although the beta will be offered on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, Sony's new partnership with Activision means PS4 players will get first access to the multiplayer beta.

Activision hasn't announced when it'll be available for the other platforms.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will launch November 6, 2015 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. As promised, Activision debuted Black Ops 3's multiplayer tonight as well. You can check out the multiplayer reveal trailer above.
