Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta extended on PS4

After opening up the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 multiplayer to all PlayStation 4 owners, Treyarch has decided to extend it as well. Originally scheduled to end on Sunday, the multiplayer beta will now conclude tonight, Monday, August 24 at 10:00pm PST (Tuesday, Aug. 25 1:00am EST).

Over the weekend, Treyarch issued a number of updates introducing new maps, modes, and Specialists. The current level cap has been boosted to 49 which should give you a good sense of the types of weapons and gadgets you'll have at your disposal once the game fully launches this November.

Thanks to a new partnership between Activision and Sony, PS4 owners were first to enjoy the Black Ops 3 beta. It's scheduled to come to Xbox One and PC this week, running from August 26th through August 30th to those who pre-ordered the game. It's unknown if Activision will open it up to all Xbox owners like they did with PlayStation.
