Last week, for reasons unknown, the option to pre-order the digital version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 was removed from the Xbox Store and Amazon. Users were encouraged to purchase it as part of a "bundle only" or through their local retailer. And neither Activision nor Microsoft gave us any reason why.
In any case, the issue has been fixed on the Xbox Store. Although the description still reads "Available at your local retailer for preorder," the "Bundle Only" button has been replaced with a "Pre-order for Xbox One" and the official $59.99 price.
So if you're still interested in pre-ordering Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 digitally from the Xbox Store, you can find the appropriate links below:
- Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 – Preorder Edition – $59.99
- Call of Duty: Black Ops III Digital Deluxe Edition – $99.99
Amazon still does not have a listing for a digital Xbox One copy.
