In an effort to continue improving the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 multiplayer beta currently ongoing on PlayStation 4, Treyarch has released a new matchmaking update.
The game-side fixes deployed just now should "improve" the matchmaking issues some players have been experiencing since the beta launched yesterday. While the beta was smooth for most of the day, the servers hit a snag later on in the evening, likely due to the surge in players. Matchmaking server fixes were rolled out last night, so hopefully today's game-side fixes address the issues.
According to Treyarch Studio Design Director David Vonderhaar, the update also contains some "other more minor UI related fixes." He promises "more soon," so hopefully we get some official notes.
In any case, make sure your Black Ops 3 beta is updated to version 2.5.20.2.
