***Update***
Matchmaking server fixes rolled out last night, with game-side fixes rolling out this morning.

Treyarch has acknowledged issues preventing some players from connecting to matches in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3's multiplayer beta.
The beta launched today on PlayStation 4 and was going smoothly for most of the day. Howevever, it appears to have hit a snag. When attempting to find a match, the game goes through the motions of checking for a game and then checking the quality, but nothing happens.
We're aware that some players are having difficulties getting matched into games. We're working on it…stand by for updates. #BO3Beta

As this is a beta, problems like this are expected. After all, that's the point of all the testing, to ensure that the servers are stable when the game actually launches this November.
We'll continue to monitor the situation and let you know when the servers return to normal.
The Black Ops 3 beta for PS4 will run through Sunday, August 23rd. The beta will arrive on Xbox One and PC the following week and run from August 26th through August 30th.
