Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is roughly three weeks from launch and while we’ve already sunk our teeth into a large portion of it, there’s still plenty left to see. In the game’s new launch trailer, Treyarch showcases the game’s three big modes: Multiplayer, Zombies, and Blackout.
Whether you want to party up with three friends to battle the undead on the Titanic or attempt to survive on a dangerous island filled with 99 other players (exact numbers still yet to be confirmed), Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has something for everyone. The annual FPS’ new entry aims to try and give something that caters to every player with the exception of those who enjoy a single-player experience.
On the bright side, zombies are known for their lore heavy maps and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is kicking off a brand new storyline with new characters so it’s easily accessible to new fans who are looking for a story.
Multiplayer fans will have no shortage of content with 11 maps, a plethora of weapons and specialists, and several new modes. For those looking to try something new, they can dip into Blackout, the Black Ops take on the battle royale genre. We spent dozens of hours playing the mode during the beta and felt that Treyarch has definitely set up a mode that could be the king of the up and coming genre.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will release on October 12th, 2018 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
