Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 new Trailer highlights the ultimate PC experience

Activision has released a new trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. The video focuses on the PC version, showcasing plenty features which have become must-haves for the PC gaming community. 4K resolutions, uncapped framerates, ultra-widescreen aspect ratio and more. Check the trailer out!

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is nearing its release date of October 12th slowly and publisher Activision is making the best effort of their yearly juggernaut to become especially successful this year. Indeed, while the trope among gamers has long become that Call of Duty is a stale franchise, this year’s Black Out 4 looks to be one of the biggest shake-ups in the series history.

Not only are witnessing the first major Call of Duty game to ship without any dedicated singleplayer campaign but we also are seeing the first time the series will not be available on Steam, undoubtedly the most popular digital distribution service on PC. Only very few publishers are able to take such a radical business decision but Black Ops 4 might just be enough of a fresh breath into the series to pull it off.

Yes, while the absence of a traditional story campaign might look like a big detriment to the game, the truth is, Call of Duty has long become a competitive and co-op focused experience for most of its players. As backed by data, many players don’t even finish the story mode, so it makes sense that Activision is deciding to focus on what players are playing most.

In that endeavor, Black Ops 4 is truthfully going above and beyond with offering a feature-packed zombie mode and a series-first with Blackout. Call of Duty’s take on battle royale. The zombie mode looks to be more fleshed out than ever before, even incorporating elements expected from a campaign.

With these two highlight modes, a rich co-op zombie mode and a wholly fresh battle royale mode, Black Ops 4 has all the cards to become successful while being available exclusively through Activision-Blizzard’s own Battle.net service.
