Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War gets new look at story

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War got revealed yesterday and it looks pretty damn awesome. The awesome-ness doesn’t stop there though, we got a brand new look at Gamescom 2020.

Our heroes are tracking down a mysterious Russian threat known only as Perseus. The Russian operative is believed to bring the world to the bring of World War III. The new look gives us a look at our characters urging President Reagan to allow them to go and protect the world.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is a direct sequel to 2010’s Black Ops with returning characters. On top of that, you’ll be creating your own character and be given plenty of choices in the game which dictates the ending. Some missions will also have non-linear structure, allowing for expansive levels with varying gameplay styles. It’ll also take cues from the first game by implementing the mind-fuckery that Black Ops is known for.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will have its multiplayer reveal in September before releasing on November 13th, 2020. The game will launch on current-gen and next-gen consoles as well as PC.
