Only two weeks until Treyarch and Activision unleash the new Call of Duty. Today, they have a special treat for the PC crowd. Check out the new PC trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and learn what the platform offers!
It’s no surprise that Black Ops Cold War looks stunning. It’s built on the impressive foundation laid by last year’s Modern Warfare. It was a reboot both for the narrative but also on the technical front. Vastly improved textures, lighting, and effects presented at times a photo-realistic shooter.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War continues this trend with cutting-edge visuals at the series’ signature 60fps. PC gamers can further look forward to uncapped framerates, for even better fluidity.
Owners of a recent Nvidia GPU also receive DLSS functionality and support for Reflex Technology. A proprietary Nvidia technology that aims to lower latency. Ray-traced shadows & ambient occlusion are also accounted for.
Last but not least, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War also fully supports ultra-wide gaming monitors and multi-monitor setups. One aspect PC players will surely welcome is cross-play support. It’s a big plus since the bigger playerbase for Call of Duty games usually is on consoles.
Rounding up the info drop for the PC crowd, we also get the official PC system requirements. One notable point here is the storage requirement. You’ll need a minimum of 175 GB. A pretty hefty amount but would you expect any other way from your Warzone experience?
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War comes out November 13th for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. The PC version of the shooter is exclusively available via Blizzard.net
