As if the wait weren't enough, Activision has released a teaser for the upcoming multiplayer reveal for Call of Duty: Ghosts. I don't even know if you can call it a teaser, as the video doesn't actually show anything aside from a few dates and coordinates, which I assume to be events that will be held on the related date.
The first points to the California coast on August 14th, which is where and when the the initial multiplayer reveal will take place. The next points to Germany on August 21 which is Gamescom, followed by a September 26th date in the UK which is the presumably Eurogamer Expo. Then we have a few more dates scattered around the globe which I'm sure you can all figure out with a quick Google search and some light investigation. And really, that's all.
So it seems we'll have to actually wait until August 14th to see some actual multiplayer gameplay for Call of Duty: Ghosts. The reveal will begin at 10:30am PDT on the official Call of Duty website, which you can bookmark here.
