Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare developers praise Battlefield 1’s reveal trailer

Despite members of DICE taking a few pot shots at the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare trailer, it seems Infinity Ward has elected the high road by congratulating DICE on their world premiere for Battlefield 1. The trailer released two days ago to universal praise, though it has not accrued nearly the same number of views (or dislikes) on YouTube. It all started with a little taunt from a "fan" on the official Infinity Ward Facebook page.

At this point, Infinity Ward has no PR Poker moves left to make but be classy, but it's nice to see none the less. Team members from Infinity Ward joined in on the positive vibes via Twitter as well.

Regardless of the negative feedback, Activision is supremely confident that Infinite Warfate will do well, citing the high number of pre-orders for the game already. It will be interesting to see how the two rival franchises do come this holiday season. It's almost ironic that one is looking to the past (Battlefield 1) while the other looks to the future (Infinite Warfare) to find that next great shooter.
