In September, it was revealed that Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare PlayStation 4 players would be getting an exclusive VR "experience" which puts players in the pilot seat of the in-game jet, The Jackal. The Jackal can be called in throughout the campaign and will let players travel across planets and even go directly into space. The vehicle is used not only for travel, but for combat. It can be used to fight infantry and other air vehicles.
Starting November 4th, all PS4 players will be able to play the Jackal VR experience regardless of if they own Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare or not. All players have to do is go to the PlayStation Store and download the VR experience for free! All you need to experience the demo besides a PS4 is a PlayStation VR headset. To be clear, the main game doesn't have VR support, it's just this VR experience.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare releases on November 4th for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. For those who don't have a PS4 yet but are looking for a good reason to buy one, this weekend you'll get a free copy of Infinite Warfare with the purchase of a PlayStation 4.
