Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be on current gen consoles only

With the announcement of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare along with the COD4 bundle, people were left wondering if last generation consoles would be able to get in on the fun. The answer, unfortunately for those who have yet to purchase a current generation console, is no.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 started the trend going by only having multiplayer and no campaign, but Infinite Warfare will be the first game in the series to skip the generation entirely. The Infinity Ward twitter account responded to a fan asking the question yesterday and revealed the news. Infinite Warfare will continue to see DLC hit PS4 30 days early like Black Ops 3 started as well.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will launch on November 4th on both PS4 and Xbox One.
