Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered releases in exactly one week and it is getting more buzz than the main entry in the series from Infinity Ward, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. It's pretty clear this is the game people want and developer Raven is doing their best to make sure it lives up to the hype.
Raven has talked at length about making the game feel like the original game in 2007 with a new coat of paint to make it more "modern". PlayStation Blog went over to Raven to learn some things about the game and interviewed some developers. Below you'll find some of the key things they learned about the remaster of the classic shooter and a video with several interviews with some of the people who worked on the game.
- Raven’s number-one priority: keeping the gameplay fully authentic to the original game
- PS4 Pro support is a definite go, with support for richer textures and dynamic 4K graphics on top of the series’ signature fluid framerate
- Modern Warfare Remastered’s multiplayer mode will ship with 10 multiplayer maps, followed by another six in December. Interestingly, the game will include Kill Confirmed, which was not offered in the original release
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered releases on November 4th, 2016 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC but will only be available through the collector's editions of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
