After Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remaster's multiplayer reveal earlier this month, a lot of people felt some of the changes, although minor, took away from the classic feeling of the original game. Raven heard these complaints and immediately went to work to change what they could before the fast approaching November release date.
One of the largest complaints was the fact that the original announcer for the game's revolutionary multiplayer was gone! The atmosphere in the multiplayer was no longer the same, so vocal fans got Raven to reverse this change and implement the original announcer into the game for the original game modes that launched with Call of Duty 4.
Another issue was the fact that some of the iconic weapon sounds from guns like the deagle, M40A3, and more were completely changed. It took away the satisfaction of firing those incredibly powerful weapons, so Raven has gone back in and changed the sounds to more accurately represent the original sounds.
In addition to all of this, Raven also revealed that they will be launching some new modes and playlists alongside the original game modes. They aren't specifically detailing them but one can assume some of these new modes will be some fan favorite modes from more recent Call of Duty games.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered releases November 4th and will be available exclusively with Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare's collector's editions but may release standalone at some point.
