Call of Duty: World at War and three other games go backward compatible for Xbox One

Back in 2008, Activision and Treyarch released Call of Duty: World at War for the PC, PS3, Wii and Xbox 360. It was the first game in the Black Ops storyline and focused on World War 2, through the eyes of  Marine Raider Private C. Miller, US Navy Petty Officer Locke and Red Army soldier Private Dimitri Petrenko.

In 2010, we saw the World at War sequel Black Ops release which was followed by Black Ops 2 in 2012 and Black Ops 3 in 2015. Now, Xbox One gamers can re-experience World at War, thanks to the Xbox One's backward compatibility feature.

In addition to World at War, the following three games will also be available on the Xbox One today:

Obviously, the highlight of today's backward compatibility announcement is World at War, but hey – we can't be too greedy.
