Call of Duty: WWII beta gets update that adds new guns, scorestreaks, and more

For those who have been playing the Call of Duty: WWII beta on PS4, you've probably been killed by the same one or two guns. It can get a bit annoying to have a limited variety but don't worry, Sledgehammer Games has added a new update to give you more toys to play with.

The game now has an added SMG (see above), a 1911 pistol, and a Fighter Pilot scorestreak ( a controllable plane that does strafe runs). If you've already hit level 20, the level cap has been extended to 25. Players also have the ability to equip the S-Mine 44 (CoD veterans might know it better as a Bouncing Betty) which was only available via the Mountain Man pre-created class. If you're looking for a new perk/basic training tier, Sledgehammer has added Energetic which can be unlocked at level 23. We're not sure what it does as of yet since the description of it is locked right now. One has to imagine it makes you faster or more agile.

Call of Duty: WWII's beta is out now on PlayStation 4 and will run throughout the rest of the weekend. The beta will return next weekend on PlayStation 4 as well as Xbox One and PC.
