Call of Duty: WWII Gets a New Single Player Campaign Trailer

This looks gritty, grim and awesome!

Sledgehammer Games took to Twitter this afternoon to debut the trailer for the highly anticipated, Call of Duty: WWII single-player campaign. The trailer shows off quite a few scenes, many of which feature the player [as] Private "Red" Daniels and his squad, lead by TSgt. Wiliam Pierson (played by actor Josh Duhamel). The trailer, while it doesn't give away any spoilers, does feature the Daniels being captured and questioned in line by the Nazis and well as some intense action.

The imagery, which is all in-game, looks absolutely stunning, especially the rain scene, with gunfire and explosions going off in every direction. There are several "big set" scenes visible within the trailer, which Call of Duty games are known for, but by the end, it's clear that Sledgehammer has captured the sheer chaos of WWII perfectly.

Call of Duty is set to be released on November 3, 2017, but a PC beta test will kick off on September 29 and will run through October 2.
