Call of Duty: WWII Open Multiplayer Beta is Coming Soon to PC

Sledgehammer's Call of Duty: WWII private multiplayer beta on consoles launched not long ago. According to Sledgehammer's latest blog post, it was a success with plenty of positive feedback as the game nears launch. The open beta for Call of Duty WWII will launch on September 29 and continue until October 2 on Steam. Their goals are to stress test the core gameplay systems as well as the online backend infrastructure. It aims to test these systems at scale, so a variety of systems should participate, not just those with high-end PCs. Additionally, the open beta will provide PC gamers with a hands-on experience with the upcoming game's multiplayer. After all, betas are mutually enjoyable for developers and fans alike.

Lastly, Sledgehammer games is looking to fine-tune and optimize the PC experience, so feedback is highly encouraged. The minimum specs are set, but it's possible that the game's minimum requirements could change after the PC open beta.
