One of the classic maps from the old Call of Duty games will be making a comeback in Call of Duty: WWII, once more players will be fighting for control over the town of Carentan.
Carentan is one of the classic maps featured in the early days of Call of Duty and it has appeared in the original game, Call of Duty: United Offensive, and in Call of Duty 2. Now this classic gem will be returning, just like a car sent to Xzibit for a pimping with all the new features, graphics, and shininess that Call of Duty WWII has to offer.
The war-torn French town of Carentan will be available at launch, but only for Season Pass holders. But if you want to take a look at what you can expect from this map then watching the "Carentan" episode of "Band of Brothers" is something you'd want to do.
In other Call of Duty WWII news, Sledgehammer Games promises to keep their game cheater free, the new version of the Zombie mode will be scarier and more horror-oriented this time around, and there are four trailers about your mates in Call of Duty WWII so players can get to know their squad before going to war with them.
Call of Duty WWII is set for release November 3 on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
