Call of Duty: WWII will not be getting a release on Nintendo Switch

As it has been for the last four year, Call of Duty will be skipping a release for a Nintendo platform as Sledgehammer Games confirmed in a recent Reddit AMA that Call of Duty: WWII will not release for Nintendo Switch. The developers answered the fan question about as succinctly as it gets with a singular, yet resounding "no."

Here's a screenshot:

Call of Duty: WWII's Nintendo Switch omission had been hinted at previously on Twitter by Studio Head, Michael Condrey, so there really shouldn't be too much disappointment by this confirmation. Call of Duty hasn't been seen on a Nintendo platform since 2013 with Ghosts, and it's likely that Activision will need to see legitimate growth from the Nintendo Switch to warrant a port for the console.

Call of Duty: WWII releases for PC, PS4, and Xbox One on November 3rd, 2017.
