Call of Duty: Elite Beta Now Live on Xbox 360

Activision has announced that Call of Duty: Elite has an invite-only beta now live on the Xbox 360. The new CoD service is not set to be released until November, when Modern Warfare 3 hits store shelves, but lucky fans will receive a beta key via email.

Also in the press release, Activision explained that the beta will be released in phases over the next few weeks. So if you have not received a beta key yet, there is no reason to worry. The company gave no details on who would get invited, but rest assured that CoD veterans will be included.

Be sure to check your email over the next couple weeks. If left out, you’ll be forced to wait until November, when the full service is released.
