Capcom producer Tomoaki Ayano (pictured right) announced today that Kohichi Sugiyama (pictured left) will be taking over as producer on Ultra Street Fighter 4, due early next year.
"He has been my superior and involved in an integral part of Capcom’s fighting game team to date," said Ayano in a blog post. "Moving forward, I’ll be working in the front-line of development, which means my schedule will be more flexible, so I can devote even more time getting to know all our fans. Rest assured I’ll continue to write this blog, so stay tuned for future installments."
Revealed in July, Ultra Street Fighter 4 is the latest version of Street Fighter 4, which hit Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC in 2009. It introduces five new characters as well as new stages, modes, and features. It also employs a number of gameplay tweaks. It will be available as downloadable content or a standalone game.
