Capcom announces Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection for Switch, PS4, and Xbox

Street Fighter is one of the most acclaimed franchises in all of gaming going all the way back to when kids would go to the arcade and virtually beat the crap out of each other. The Capcom fighter has spawned countless sequels and spin-offs, the most recent one being the PS4 exclusive Street Fighter V which had a mixed response from fans and critics.

If you're one of those kids who went to the arcade and spent all their quarters on the iconic brawler, prepare to feel old because Capcom has announced the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection. The collection is a culmination of 12 Street Fighter games (see full list below) which will be available for $40 on all the major platforms in May 2018.

You can check out the announcement trailer and the list of games below.

Furthermore, SF II: Hyper Fighting, SSFII: Turbo, SF Alpha 3, and SFIII: Third Strike will have online play. The game will also feature various extras such as concept art, a sprite viewer, a music archive, and more. It's the ultimate Street Fighter package!

Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection is scheduled to release in May 2018 on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. No specific day in May was given.
